What is an electronic cigarette?
An electronic cigarette or "e-cig" is a vaporizing device that allows the user to simulate smoking like a real tobacco cigarette but without all of the harmful and negative side effects. The electronic cigarette is composed of three different components: the battery, atomizer, and mouthpiece. When the user inhales on the electronic cigarette it triggers the battery to heat up the atomizer, which has a heating element in it that creates vapor. Inside the mouthpiece contains nicotine liquid that is wicked down onto the atomizer and produces a vapor similar to smoking.
So what is in the vapor that you are inhaling?
The nicotine liquid that is used to create the vapor is composed of three main ingredients: water, propylene glycol, and nicotine. Propylene glycol is a substance generally deemed as safe by the FDA and is commonly found in flavoring extracts, medications, cosmetics, fogging machines etc.... Here is a list of ingredients from the manufacturer which composes the cartridges and eliquid:

Can I use the electronic cigarette in non-smoking facilities?
That's the real beauty of this device! Since this is a non-tobacco product and does not create any second-hand smoke or smell, it does not fall under any smoking ban. No more having to go outside or across the street to enjoy a smoking experience! As the popularity of electronic cigarettes widens, many establishments, such as bars and restaurant are becoming accepting of these devices.
Can I quit smoking using the electronic cigarette?
The electronic cigarette has currently not been approved by the FDA as an official smoking cessation device nor have there been any documented studies to prove the success of electronic cigarettes to help smokers quit. Having said that, many users of electronic cigarettes have found that they can replace there old habit with these devices. Because it contains no harmful chemicals, tar, or carcinogens it provides the user with a much healthier alternative to smoking.
Who is the electronic cigarette intended for?
The electronic cigarette is intended for ADULTS ONLY 18 years or older. It is also only intended for people who are already cigarette smokers because it contains the highly addiction substance nicotine. If you are already a non-smoker please do not pick up one of these! They are highly addictive and should only be considered as an alternative if you are already addicted to nicotine. Other contraindications may include but are not limited to:
- If you are currently pregnant, nursing, or are planning on becoming pregnant
- High blood pressure or heart disease as nicotine can increase heart rate and blood pressure
- Any allergies to propylene glycol or nicotine
Are electronic cigarettes cheaper than smoking real cigarettes?
Many will find that using electronic cigarettes can be cheaper in the long run. This depends on amount of use and the cost of what you’re paying currently for cigarettes. For a month usage in the moderate user you are probably going to go through 2 atomizers ($20) and 30ml of juice ($24) and some spare mouthpieces ($5), so about $50/month. If you are a pack a day smoker at $4/pack that's $120/month, so you're saving $70/month, or $840 a year!
How long do cartridges last?
Some suppliers suggest one cartridge will last 200 puffs or a whole pack of cigarettes. However many have found this is not the case. One cartridge usually will last equivalent to 4-6 cigarettes or 40-60 puffs. This of course depends on depth of inhalation.
What's the difference between the DSE901 and Joye 510?
I often get asked this question, so I thought I would include it here to shed some light on the differences of two popular models: the DSE901 and the Joye 510. Of course these are my opinions, so some may disagree with me but I'll give it a shot. The DSE 901 compared to the 510 offers more taste and a smoother "hit" so to speak. Battery life is also slightly better, offering maybe an extra hour of use. The Joye 510 offers more of a "throat hit" (even to the point where some users may cough :) and slightly more vapor than the 901. I have also found that the 510 is somewhat of a "juice hog" requiring the user to top off with eliquid more frequently. The carts on the 510 also leak around the atomizer and cartridge connection, which becomes a nuance for some. Having said that, these two models are hands down the two most popular on the market right now, and provide customers with the best e-cig experience available.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
We offer a 14 day warranty on the electronic cigarette kits and accessories. All other consumables such as cartridges and e-liquid are non-refundable.
